Amazing koru Art

For the past few weeks the habitat has been doing Maori related art. So we split up in to groups and I went to Miss Loves group and we did koru art inspired by Raewn Harris!

I have finished mine and I think it looks great. I'm really happy with my blending and my vibrant colours. I think personally that Raewn Harris is amazing at art! Especially the way she uses the natural New Zealand colours, and the Autumn colours, like orange, red and yellow.

I think I could have done a bit better while doing the rain drops. Because I used chalk and it smudged and it was really frustrating:(

For my art work I give my self personally 9/10. Because I'm really happy with my koru!

    Hi Imran, Saw your finished Koru art, its absolutely amazing! There is so much depth, detail and the colours are really vibrant. I also like the different techniques you've used while colouring. Maybe you can teach me some? :) Love, Ma.
