[25 Jan 2016] Today me and my family went to the Australian Open in Melbourne. The Australian Open is one of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments in the world. The others are: US Open, Wimbeldon, and the French Open. The Australian Open first started in 1905 and is the first grand slam event every year where all the top ranked players compete for the men's singles and doubles, women's singles and doubles, and mixed doubles championships.
We booked the tickets one day prior to the actual day so we wouldn't have to wait in a long line. The next day we woke up early and got prepared for an #Oresome adventure ahead. We took a tram π to the city then took the free tennis shuttle to the Hisense Arena and got into the Melbourne Park. We were pretty confused because it was our first time in the Park so first we had a look around then we asked a staff member and headed for show court 2. There were two women playing on either side of the net. It was a double's match. Their names were King and Kudryavtseva on the front half vs Pavlyuchenkova and Vesnina on the back half.

It was a pretty cool match but not as much as the legend's match with Chang and Arthurs versus Ferreira and Wilander. It wasn't much of a tennis match it was more of a comedy show! One of the players went 3 on 1 at one point in the match. It was an astounding match! Then we went and ate some sushi πand nachos. They were yummy. After that we walked around and saw some small tennis courts for family fun so we played some tennis. Then we went to David Ferrer (world number 8) and John Isner's (world number 10) match. We couldn't watch the whole thing because it was getting too dark so we went home and rested for the adventures ahead.
