We have been working on understanding ANZAC Day and what the soldiers did in Gallipoli 100 years ago. This iExperience was called ‘An ANZAC Pack’ and related to Trench life and warfare in World War One.
During the first session, Imran was completing research around the weapons and gear the soldiers would have used. The learners were provided with a variety of links which they had to read and discuss. From this, Imran needed to record two facts that interested them.
At the following session, Imran had to go through the information he had discovered, put it into his own language and prepare a slideshow, Google Doc or poster to explain his learning. The link for Imran’s Doc is below.

Key Competencies/Vision Principles
|
Imran demonstrated a lot of curiosity during both iExperience sessions. Imran was able to manage his time well, and he made good progress within the time given (Managing Self). Imran had to make connections between what was used 100 years ago and what is used today (Thinking). This is particularly evident with his appropriate choice of images in his Doc. Imran was capable of working independently and direct his own learning effectively.
